Note: Readers of the Children's Salon founded and endowed no less than eleven cots to hospitals during the first two decades of the 20th century, most of which were in London; including the North-Eastern Hospital for Children, the East London Hospital for Children in Shadwell; and Great-Ormond Street Hospital.

Princess Henry of Battenberg yesterday laid the memorial stone of a new wing in connection with the North-Eastern Hospital for Children, and subsequently named the Children's Salon cot in memory of Prince Christian Victor.

Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein, attended by Lady Agneta Montagn, returned to London on Monday from Oxford, where she had been staying since Saturday with the President of Magdalen and Mrs Warren. (This is the Uncle and Aunt of our Whitwar magazine editress, Gladys Warren).
Amongst those invited to meet her Royal Highness were the Vice-Chancellor, the Dean of Christ Church, and Mr G. H. Morrell, M.P. and Mrs Morrell, of Streatley House.
Princess Christian has sent the following message to the members of "The Children's Salon" who have endowed the cot in the North-Eastern Hospital in memory of the late Prince Christian Victor:- The Princess would be very grateful if you would convey her Royal Highness's heartfelt thanks for what they have done to help the sufferings of others, and is glad that so good a work should be associated with the name of her son."
