Annual Meeting of the Hackney Society
The fourth Annual Meeting of the Hackney Society in aid of the North Eastern Children's Hospital was held at the hospital, Mr Herbert Robertson, M.P. the president of the Society, in the chair. Amongst those present were:

The accounts for the year, signed on behalf of the auditors by Mr Tom Hosgood and Thos. Corby showed that a sum of £385 had been obtained for the hospital during the past twelve months including £45 in new annual subscriptions.
The officers of the Society were re-elected with the addition of the name of the Rev. G. Issacs, and twelve life governors were appointed from amongst the members.
The next effort of the Society will take the form of a grand fete at the Tee-to-Tum ground, Stamford Hill, on 5th July, when it is hoped that the inhabitants of the surrounding districts will again rally to the support of their Children's Hospital which is always very hard pressed for funds in the Summer months.
